There are more bad grades than before.

Professor of Food Hygiene Johanna Björkroth is concerned about the results.

“Yes, it was a sad read in that there has been more to fix than in previous years.”

Many restaurants have deficiencies in hygiene.

The reason for the quality problems is the poor finances of the restaurants.

In addition, not all entrepreneurs and employees have sufficient knowledge or language skills.

Authorities have temporarily closed some restaurants.
