Party support

Politics first.

Support for the Finns Party has grown.

This is clear from Yle’s new party support survey.

The Finns Party now has 15.6 percent support. The Finns Party overtook the Center Party and is now the third most popular party.

The SDP continues to be in first place in the survey, with support of almost 24 percent.

The National Coalition Party is in second place. Its support is 17 percent.

Yle’s poll shows that support for the Finns Party has increased.

Wolt couriers

Then the topic is food parcels.

27,000 people applied to become Wolt couriers in early summer.

The search was organized because the Wolt company is reforming its courier business. Wolt anticipates legal reforms and wants to prevent the shadow economy.

In the future, every driver must have their own courier account. The identity and work permit of the account owner will be checked.

A courier account cannot be replaced, nor can it be rented or sold to another courier.

Tens of thousands of people have applied to become a Wolt courier.

Wolt says it was surprised by the large number of applicants. It can’t offer jobs to everyone.

Dog forests

Finally, the topic is dog forests.

The number of dog parks is increasing in Finland.

Dog parks are fenced-in forest areas where dogs can run freely.

There are already almost 120 dog parks in total. The number has doubled in 2 years.

There are more and more dog forests.

You can train your dog in the dog park and the areas are safe. There is always a reserved slot for the dog park, which you have to pay for.
