Then about Finland and drones.
The Ministry of Finance is investigating who can compensate for drone damage.
There are two main options if a drone damages a Finn’s home or property. The government could seek compensation from Parliament through a supplementary budget.
The second line is to establish an electronic reimbursement option at the State Treasury.
In March, a total of 3 drones were found on the ice of Lake Pyhäjärvi in Kouvola, Luumäki and Parikkala. In April, a drone was found in Iiti.
In May, a danger notice was issued for Uusimaa, but the drones ultimately did not enter Finland.
Drones have strayed into Europe during Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.
