This week we celebrated Finland’s World Cup gold medal, which Finland won in ice hockey. The World Ice Hockey Championship is Finland’s 5th.

The Finns celebrated the championship a week ago on Sunday. At that time, a large number of people gathered to celebrate, for example in the center of Helsinki.

The celebrations continued on Monday, when a large public celebration was held in Helsinki.

Over 70,000 people attended the party. Players from the Finnish ice hockey team were present at the party. Popular singers also performed at the party.
