Russian and Chinese leaders meet in Beijing

Russian President Vladimir Putin is visiting China. He met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
President Putin gave a speech. He said that relations between Russia and China are at a high level.
President Xi said that China and Russia have improved trust and cooperation. He said that the countries should help each other.

Petty theft can land you in court

The Helsinki District Court is now handling a lot of petty theft cases.
There is a backlog in the courts because the Helsinki police started investigating petty thefts. Previously, the police did not investigate thefts that were really small.
Now you can be prosecuted if you steal, for example, a chocolate bar from a store.
The Helsinki District Court is overloaded with petty theft cases, which take up a lot of the judges’ time.
The head of the Helsinki District Court says the situation is frustrating.

Upper secondary school students responded to a school health survey conducted by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
In the survey, half of young people with a foreign background said that they had experienced discrimination at school and during their free time.
