The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has significantly increased the price of oil because the closure has stopped oil shipments.
In Finland, shipping companies Viking Line and Tallink Silja announced this week that they are slowing down the speed of their Stockholm ships because the price of fuel has risen significantly.
Slowing down reduces the ships’ fuel consumption. At the same time, the travel time to Stockholm will be slightly longer.
Some airlines have begun to reduce flights because fuel prices have risen and fuel stocks are dwindling.

Another military drone was found in Finland on Saturday. It had crashed into a forest in Iiti, Päijät-Häme.
The plane was carrying a warhead containing explosives.
The warhead had detached from the aircraft, but it had not exploded. Finnish authorities safely detonated the warhead.
Police say that the military drone in Iitti is similar to the drones found in Kouvola about 2 weeks ago.
The Iitti drone is also perhaps a Ukrainian drone.
