Party support

Initially, the topic is party support.

There have been no major changes in party support.

In Yle’s December poll, the most popular party is still the SDP, supported by just under 25 percent of respondents.

The second is the National Coalition Party, which has support of just under 19 percent.

The third most popular party is the Finns Party, with support of just over 14 percent.

The Center Party is in fourth place with just under 14 percent support.

The parties’ support is almost the same as in last month’s survey.

Children’s Independence Day

Then we will tell you about the children’s Independence Day celebration.

Hundreds of children from all over the country have celebrated Finland’s independence in Helsinki.

The children’s independence celebration was held yesterday at the Finnish National Opera. Two children from each municipality in Finland were invited.

The host of the party was Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. He shook hands with all the guests.

The surprise performer at the party was the band KAJ, who represented Sweden at Eurovision last spring.

Over 500 children from all over the country participated in the Children’s Independence Day celebration.

Joona Kuvaja came to the party from Kajaani.

Here we have already shaken hands with the Prime Minister. How did it go?

- Very well.

What did you say to Petteri Orpo?

- Happy Independence Day.
