The first municipalities will vote today on the construction of the western line.
The Western Railway is a high-speed train between Helsinki and Turku.
The Espoo and Turku city councils will vote first. They will vote on the shareholder agreement, which in practice means money.
Vihti, Lohja, Kirkkonummi and Salo are also along the route. They will vote on the matter in December at the latest.
The first municipalities will vote today on the construction of the western line.
In addition to the municipalities’ money, loans and money from the state are needed. Starting construction of the Western Line will cost over 1.3 billion euros.

Multiple sclerosis can make it difficult to move and perform everyday activities if the disease worsens.
