The president’s wife is Suzanne Innes-Stubb. Innes-Stubb’s native language is English, but she has also learned Finnish and Swedish.

I hope I can show that even if you don’t speak Finnish or Swedish perfectly, it’s always worth trying to say something. That’s the most important thing. This is what Innes-Stubb saidin an interview with Selkouutisten in the fall.

State financial problems

There has been a lot of talk this year about the state’s financial problems.

The Finnish government has too much spending and too little revenue. That’s why Finland is taking on a lot more debt.

Politicians are arguing about what to do about the state’s financial problems.

The government is making savings that will affect the lives of many people. For example, many subsidies will be reduced.

In addition, the government is reducing hospital services. For example, night shifts will end in many hospitals.

The opposition believes the government is saving money in the wrong places. Disputes over state funds will continue next year.
