At the UN Climate Summit in Dubai, an important agreement has been reached on a fund to compensate for climate damage.

The fund is aimed at poor countries. With the help of the fund, poor countries are supported so that they can survive, for example, floods and hurricanes.

The United Arab Emirates and Germany both pledged $100 million to the fund. EU countries put more than 200 million dollars into the fund. Japan, Great Britain and the United States also put money into the fund.

Low-income families

In Finland, children go hungry in many low-income families. This is clear from the survey that the Save the Children aid organization does annually.

About 15 percent of the survey respondents said that the family does not have enough food. Last year, about 10 percent of respondents said that there is not enough food at home.

The Save the Children organization says that the situation has worsened during the year because everything has become more expensive.

Driving schools

Driving schools are doing badly now.

Even half of the teachers at the driving school have changed fields in the last 5 years. Many driving schools have also stopped operating completely.

Driving schools are crowded because teaching licenses are more popular than before. Anyone over the age of 25 who has a driver’s license and at least 5 years of driving experience can teach driving with a teaching permit.
