According to the human rights commissioner, Israel’s punishment of all Palestinians and the forced evacuation of civilians are also a war crime.

A large part of Finns do not want the fur farm to continue in the same way as it is now.

80 percent of Finns would stop fur farming or make it more comfortable for the animals.

More than half of the respondents supported a complete ban on fur farming.

More than a thousand Finns answered the survey about fur farming.

Several salmiakki and licorice candies made in Finland contain a substance called Matriini, which is banned in the EU.

Yle commissioned a laboratory study of 10 Finnish candies. Too much matrine was found in 6 candies.

Matrine is in licorice extract, which is the raw material of candies.

It is not known for certain whether matrine is dangerous. That’s why the EU has banned matriline just to be sure.

High school students

About 4,300 new high school students will graduate this fall.

A total of almost 44,000 students took part in the matriculation exam. A large number take the exam in several parts.

The results of the fall matriculation essays have been announced today. The names of the new students can be found atyle.fi.

After matriculation, a student can apply to a university, for example.

President Martti Ahtisaari will be made into a stamp.

Posti is publishing a mourning card from Ahtisaari to honor Ahtisaari’s memory. The stamp has only black and white colors.

The stamp will be released on December 15.

President Martti Ahtisaari died on October 16 in Helsinki. He was 86 years old.
