Discrimination against immigrants

Many immigrants experience discrimination in Finland, according to a new study.

More than 40 percent have experienced discrimination during the previous year.

The study says that men who have moved to Finland from Africa or the Middle East experience the most discrimination.

In general, immigrants are doing well in Finland, but some are lonely.

The majority say that they feel safe in everyday life. Most also say they have good health.

More than 7,800 people who were born outside of Finland responded to the survey.

The US defends Israel’s actions in Gaza.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says that Israel has the right and duty to defend itself. Blinken also said that ordinary people in Gaza must be protected.

Foreign Minister Blinken is visiting Israel.

Blinken says that Israel wants to be sure that the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas will not attack Israel again from Gaza.

More than 1,000 Israelis were killed in a Hamas attack in early October.

After that, Israel attacked Gaza, and many thousands of people in Gaza have died.

There are also Finns in Gaza.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland says that there are less than 10 Finns in Gaza. Some of them are children.

Electric scooters

The majority of Finns say that there are too many electric scooters. The matter will become clear from a new survey.

65 percent of Finns said that there are too many electric scooters.

A large majority of Finns also said that electric scooters are driven too fast.

Many had also gotten into a dangerous situation on the street because of the electric scooter.

President Ahtisaari’s funeral

President Martti Ahtisaari’s funeral will be held in Helsinki on Friday, November 10.

More than 800 guests are invited to Ahtisaari’s funeral.

The current president Sauli Niinistö will give a speech at the funeral.

President Ahtisaari is taken to the grave in a funeral procession. The procession passes through the city to the Hietaniemi cemetery.

Ahtisaari died on the 16th of October.
